Jacob Sherwin joins us from Sydney in the position of Fire Engineer. Having previously worked with Stantec (formerly Wood and Grieve Engineers) since 2018, Jacob brings with him significant experience in both fire safety engineering and computational modelling with a keen interest in innovative computer modelling performance-based solutions. Jacob brings a broad knowledge of fire safety issues having worked on projects covering a wide variety of sectors and scales ranging from large hospital redevelopments to small commercial fit outs.
Ka Fai Law joins us as a Senior Fire Engineer after having worked in the field in Hong Kong for over a decade. With extensive experience in fire engineering gained from his involvement in numerous local (Hong Kong) and overseas projects including retail centres, residential buildings, heritage buildings, mega integrated resorts, etc. Ka Fai has obtained his professional qualifications in Hong Kong (MHKIE, RPE) and the UK (MIFireE, CEng). By joining Sotera, Ka Fai will contribute to the development of the company through his expertise and provide professional services to our clients.
